[Closed to [personal profile] alwaysimpure]

The tonic Sirius gave her to help her sleep was working well enough. She was able to catch up on her sleep which allowed her to get back on track with her school work. The residual feelings from his memories were getting lighter as the days went by. Though she still had some bad days. Things were looking up for her, but she noticed there were more empty bottles of tonic around.

She packed them into a bag and made her way over to Sirius' shop. She entered in wearing a brown jacket over a long sleeved light purple sweater and jeans.

"Sirius?" she called, wondering if he was in the back of the shop. Thus far she seemed ot be the only one around.

-THEM-
Character name: Anna-Marie Darkholme, but she's known as Rogue. No one knows her real name.
Series: X-Men: Evolution
Character history: Rogue
Character personality: This Rogue is different from the comics and the 90s cartoon. She's not secured in her own skin yet, as is a common trait among most teenagers. Because of this and her power she tends to isolate herself from others, making her to be a loner. Her mutation makes it impossible for her to be physically near people, least they want her to absorb their life force and memories. The first boy she was close to and kissed ended up in the hospital. That left a lasting mark on her. Not only does she need to be away from people for their own safety, but hers as well. Absorbing someone's memories, powers and their appearance can do a number on her. If the personality is strong it could over power her and take control of her body.

Loner aspect aside, she tends to be petulant, sarcastic and defensive. She has trust issues so there will always be a wall between her and another person. The truth issues revolves around Mystique who lied to her from the get go, something she will always have a grudge about. It's best if she stays as far away from Mystique as possible. She will recognize Kurt as her brother, but never Mystique as her mother. The bridge between them has been long burned.

Though she has trust issues her time with the X-men has allowed her to lower her guard little by little allowing her to be "close" to her roommate Kitty. She is loyal to the X-Men and protective of her little family. She is also smart as she's taking two classes with upperclassmen Scott Summers at Bayville High.

-SAMPLES-
Journal entry sample:

You've....got to be kidding me.

I thought this was a dream.

Tch, here we go again.
Log/prose based sample:

She was here again. In a place called New Moore where she apparently didn't exist. Nothing about her person was ever real. The X-Men were as real as drawings on a chalkboard and her powers...well, they were still around. That alone meant the doctors or whoever the hell was running the place had lied to her. If there was one thing she hated the most it was being lied to. Her plan to touch one of the doctors failed as they woke her up and shoved her out the door. She was refused access to the hospital until she 'calmed down'.

Huffing to herself she took out her phone and started to write out a text. If Gambit was still here, if he wasn't a figment of her imagination...maybe he'd help her out. It was the last thing she wanted to do, but what other choice did she have?
